From Kiara Advani to Sharvari Wagh, here are 5 saree divas who slayed in classic black sarees with their timeless looks

Kiara picked a black saree from Manish Malhotra’s racks while acting as the fashion designer’s muse. She was dressed in an all-black saree and sleeveless blouse. The blouse had a plunging neckline and was also a much uncomplicated design. The saree’s border was embellished with elaborately pleated embellishments as a fashionable accent. With a beautiful traditional choker necklace with emerald drops, the actress perfectly captured the ethnic style. She just decided on those items for the accessories. Her little makeup, tiny bindi, and elegant middle-parted hair bun added to her ethnic charm. She chose natural-looking eyebrows, bare lips, and dazzling highlighter on the cheekbones. Kiara Advani’s sheer saree is the ideal choice if you want to add some flare to a cocktail party.

Sharvari decided on a gorgeous black saree with golden borders. She wore a midriff-baring blouse with big, puffy sleeves and a tie-up feature with the sari. Sharvari added further accessories to her traditional appearance with golden jhumkas. Sharvari had her hair parted in the centre and left it straight and gelled. She was adorned with a little black bindi, nude lipstick, black winged eyeliner, mascara-coated eyelashes, black kohl, drawn eyebrows, and contoured cheekbones.

Sabyasachi’s black sari was all Karisma Kapoor needed to turn heads. Her saree is made from a lightweight organza fabric, and the only embellishments are a sequin border and subtle tone-on-tone flower embroidery. The drape was worn with a black sleeveless blouse that was embellished, creating a modest yet striking ensemble. With her style, Karisma Kapoor gave the black organza sari a unique touch. She donned a striking set of earrings by Sabyasachi Fine Jewelry that were made of priceless coloured stones and uncut diamonds. Her hair was pulled back in a chic braided bun, and her makeup included a dewy base, winged eyeliner, and nude lips. A black organza sari like Karisma’s is one you need to have in your bridal wardrobe. You may use it for a small wedding supper or your engagement ceremony.

The beautiful saree is the one that tops our ethnic outfits for its elegance. The six yards of pure elegance and poise appear wonderfully classic but trendy, adding appeal to every event. Parineeti Chopra captivated our hearts by wearing a gorgeous black lace saree. The actor wore a lace saree with lace borders and sequined trimming all around in silver. In addition to the saree, Parineeti wore a full-sleeved, close-neck lace blouse with ruffle accents at the collar. The actor added a pair of oxidised earrings to the draping and let her silky mane hang unrestrained. Parineeti chose to wear nude makeup, going for smoky eyes and glistening eyelids. You should save this saree for the farewell party since it would make you seem beautiful without you having to go the additional mile.

Priyanka Chopra wore this saree on pre-Oscars party which she attended with many other stars. The star looked gorgeous in a black embroidered saree and strapless blouse she chose for the occasion.  It is from the shelves of the contemporary label Jade By Monica and Karishma. Priyanka’s black sheer saree features chikankari embroidery on the borders, pleats and the pallu. Additionally, the shimmering sequinned highlights, intricate chikan work, and a billowy silhouette make it a perfect summer wedding pick. Priyanka draped the saree in a traditional style with the pallu pleated on her shoulder, flaunting her hourglass frame. She turned heads at the event by teaming the six yards with a classy and modern embellished blouse.

The strapless bralette-styled top comes with a cropped hem, sweetheart neckline, lace overlay, and intricate embellishments. You can either wear the saree traditionally as Priyanka did or add your charm to it by experimenting with the draping technique. The Sky Is Pink actor chose emerald and diamond earrings, a stacked shimmering bracelet, and statement rings for the accessories.

In the end, Priyanka’s glam choices included dramatic winged eyeliner, side-parted open hair with defined curls, a glossy nude lip colour, flushed cheeks, luminous complexion, dazzling highlighter, a small trace of mascara, and precise contouring. You can put it on for the engagement party or cocktail hour of your best friend’s wedding.
